Welcome to Mantl. By using mymantl.app or the Mantl mobile app (collectively, "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Mantl is a podcast companion and film tracking platform. It lets you track films you've watched, follow along with film podcast communities, earn badges, sync your Letterboxd diary, and play daily film games. Mantl is operated by mymantl LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
You may sign in with Google or a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
Mantl offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The Pro subscription is billed monthly ($2.99) or annually ($24.99) and unlocks all communities, badges, stats, diary, and live Letterboxd sync. Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective billing terms. You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings. A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers.
You retain ownership of content you create on Mantl, including ratings, notes, and journal entries. By posting content, you grant Mantl a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and store that content as part of operating the Service. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or violates the rights of others.
Your Mantl profile may be publicly accessible. This includes your username, avatar, bio, and activity. You can control your profile visibility through your account settings.
Mantl connects to third-party services including Google, TMDB, Letterboxd, Firebase, and RevenueCat. Your use of these integrations is subject to each service's own terms and policies.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the in-app account deletion page or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our systems.
Mantl is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Film metadata is sourced from TMDB and may contain inaccuracies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, mymantl LLC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
